Abstract

Learning style is an important aspect in ensuring that the learning and teaching process can be implemented well. Most people realize that everyone has different learning styles and techniques. Students can have a mixed learning style. This learning style will definitely have an impact on educational performance. Some people have a dominant learning style with little use of other styles. There are also some people who use different learning styles according to the situation. Today's learning is the result of the advent of the internet and the integration of modern technology. Online learning is used as a distance learning method. Each student has differences related to their background, experience, attitudes and characteristics during the learning process. Therefore, online learning should focus on this matter especially the learning style of the student. In this research, the Felder-Silverman model and the Decision Tree were used in identifying learning styles based on online student learning activities. Online learning activities are also identified and new models are proposed in developing these learning activities according to the suitability of the Felder-Silverman model.
