Abstract

A rapid development in tourism industry has been significant since tourists are depending on this sector to grow rapidly especially on the technology advance and implementing E-Commerce as part of digital marketing practice is another process for the agency to sustain the business during the pandemic Covid-19 situation. Finance cost and lack of skills are adapted during the current situation where most of travel agencies in Kuching decided to maintain using the normal website and traditional method while selling and promoting the tourism products and services. Digital marketing has a very common use to tourism industry in Malaysia, it can be include as social media, email marketing and a convenience website for the consumers easy to access the company data and selected the products offer. The benefits of the implementation of E-Commerce as another digital marketing for travel agencies can create another opportunities for the local community to collaborate with the tourism industry as to promote an official local products like handcrafts, foods and beverage and merchandise. The awareness of the digital marketing for the travel agencies in Kuching has been measured and agencies has interested to for for the technology advancement using E-Commerce platform for the tourism business in future.
